DF Orbit is being built from 18 years of operating experience at DF Dance Studio, with a working prototype, a planned 3–4 studio pilot, and a subscription business model. The longer-term vision is a connected dance-learning economy: independent teachers can host virtual classes and sell content; dancers can submit videos for paid, moment-specific teacher critiques; and students can keep lesson recaps, recordings, notes, drills, and progress in a personal dance companion. Studios, classes, and teams can create shared communities with group conversations, threaded replies, reactions, pinned posts, and reminders; private direct messages are not part of this vision. Future AI may assist with critique, while the teacher remains the coach. Partner matching, competition travel, roommate and ride coordination, and trusted booking connections remain later marketplace features, not current product claims.
